From today and on. I've decided to start with something new and exciting! (or not so exciting maybe...).I realised that I've take too many photoes, and too many videos and I share them with no one what so ever. So now for the first time I made a video blog. And before I show you my first ever video. I just want to warn everyone about my sucky english in this video. Because it's the first time I record when I'm all alone I feel so awkward talking to myself that I also start talking with a weird english accent, forgive me everyone! Weirdly enough, no one on the the street looked weird at me?
So without more introduction to my first video blog. Here you go:
I guess most people reading my blog dont know my obsession with sparkeling things, I really love bling! And I've blinged my last 3 cellphones. I have had my Samsung Galaxy S2 for maybe 4 months now. But I have not tried to bling yet,but after this long time without blinging I knew I had to do something about it. So if you are like me, love shining sparkeling things and want to make your cellphone, mp3 player or whatever to look more blinged and fancy, I'm now about to tell you where and how you can do it here in Seoul..
First of, of course you need to buy some bling!
I went to one of my favorite places in Seoul. Dongdaemun! This time I did not go to the shopping malls like I mostly do. But behind the big shopping malls there is a market called Dongdaemun Market, where creative people goes shopping. This place sell mostly fabrics,buttons,lace, zippers or whatever you need for creating your own clothes or whatever you wanna make. But this place is really hugh! It has endless of stores and so easy to get lost. But if having alot of free time, walking around just looking at stuff here is actually quite funny.
I found two stores who sold alot of Swarovski crystals in all different colors, sizes and shapes. I guess there is other stores here also that sell crystals and other things for decorating, but among 1000 fabric stores these two are the onces I could find. For my Swarovski crystals I spent maybe around 40,000 won which is cheap for Swarovski, I love wholesale places like these! And the seller at one of the stores, not the one is this picture but the other store I found even game me discount, and was really kind.
This is what I ended up buying. Clear color crystals, and some with ABshine (Shines different colors according to light, if you know what I mean.Makes it sparkle!) All are round shape, but also bought some hearts also to make it more cute. I like cute stuff.
Now.
What do I do when I have bought the crystals?
First of....Do you wanna bling straight onto your phone? then it will be stuck forever, or very hard to remove. Or do like me, buy a cheap cover for your phone and bling it. I bought a white cover from Gmarket.com for only 2000 won. And you do need glue, I used some superglue I found at Lotte Mart. It worked quite well. I actually by accident almost glued my fingers stuck onto my cover, oucccch. So be careful when using strong glue people! Could be stuck with you cover on your fingers for the rest of your life.
If you use fast drying glue like me, I would reccomend to sort out your crystals first to make it faster to pick up before the glue dry. And don't apply glue at a to big area at the time. Blinging takes along time, but worth it when you are finished!
I would also reccomend to start with your big bling first if you have any, then you get a better idea of how your design will end up looking like. After you have glued your main big crystals on,or whatever you wanna use on your phone, don't need to be crystals, be creative if you want a more fun design!I have in the past used both cute crowns, plastic roses,cross from necklace,blinged chain, Hallo Kitty head and many other things. Just google decoden for inspiration if needed.
After adding those, you can start with your smaller crystals, and work your way around the whole phone slowly to its finished. And I also use very very small crystals to fill in any gaps between bigger onces so the cover is not showing too much underneath.

Just wanna inform you all Im not dead. Im alive even if I dont update my blog often! School life is seriously crazy, I end up studying to late night every day. Lack of sleep makes me too tierd to blog, and not to mention my skin have become bad also because of stress and little sleep. But thankfully, its only 4 weeks left to I have winterbreak. Its super long, like 3 months!! What will I do for 3 months hmmm. No clue! Maybe I will actually miss all the hard school work, but my skin will be more happy!
To remember what Ive dont the past month,I must look at my phone, because I mostly take random pictures of things when Im outside.

Psy concert at City Hall:
I went with my bf to watch Psy's free concert at City Hall. It was so many people, but it was really fun! I love concerts, and I love free stuff. So this was perfect.

Seoul Firework festival:
Went to this year Fire work festival together with Ingrid and two of her female friends. I guess I dont need to tell what a fire work festival is, its a festival with firework looool.
Its popular among families, and its in a hugh park along the Han river. So people who come early enough can be lucky to find a free spot to sit down and do some picnic. We were one of the lucky onces who got a place to sit. On the subway stop closest to the park Police men shouted in speakers what direction to walk, because it was expected to come 100.000 people to the park. So guess we were lucky with finding a place to sit.

Fire work start. Yey ~~
On the subway home. It was crazy. Never seen so many people in one place. It takes usually 2 minutes walking from the entrance to the trains, but it took us 40 minutes to the train! It was like traffic jam with people. Not to forget to mention people was dripping sweat all over, so nasssty

Halloween Party:
Went to halloween party together with Ingrid and Mari. Like a norwegian girls night out in Hongdae. This picture is taken in Dongdaemun toystreet, where I went to buy black angelwings for my outfit
Found this cute store that sold many different wings. Found hugh black wings for my costume. It turned out quite well together with a black top, a black frill skirt and heels. But I didnt take any pictures, stupid right??
Cinema:
Went to watch Paranormal Activity 4. My bf dont like horror movies, but went with me anyway to watch the newest PA movie. It was the premiere night, 2 at night, but we were the only onces watching!! So had the whole room alone. So you can see me being forever alone in this picture

With Rob and Grace at a coffeeshop after school. Ate cake yummy!
With my bf some weeks ago. Enjoyed a meal and some drinks.
My lunch at school cafeteria. The chicken was not that good. My school has so many cafeterias, tried out this one last week. Must say the other onces Ive tried has been better
Flower shop:
Robert bought roses for his girlfriend, so I joined to help him pick them out. So sweet!
Getting ready for winter:
Bought a cute winter coat. But dont think it will last long, allready feel cold when I wear it, and its not even at the coldest yet he he he
Watching a play:
My bf bought tickets to bring me to watch a play. But it was only in korean, but it was okay because my bf translated the most important parts for me. And I could also understand much of what they said, so I really enjoyed it. It was so fun!!!
Making kimchi:
My bf told me his ideal girl is someone who knows how to make kimchi. So to show him what a serious gf I am, I signed up for Kimchi classes at Kimchi Academy in Myeongdong. It was actually quite fun making kimchi. I went there with Grace, and we were the only 2 doing the class. So got a private cooking class for only us. We signed up for class in english, but the instructor had quite poor english. So we did it mostly in korean, which was fine. It was fun, will surly make try making more kimchi again in the furture. And oh, my bf loved my kimchi and said it was really good. So it was worth taking the classes seeing him enjoy it.
Getting pandabear:
Went with my bf to the cinema to watch the movie TED. He bought me a cute pandabear and gave me. I love pandas <3333 p="">

Som noen kanskje vet,eller har lest før i bloggen min er hanbok den koreanske folkedrakten. Ordet hanbok betyr rett og slett noe så enkelt som koreanske klær og finnes både for gutter og jenter, brukes av personer i alle aldere.
Hanbok brukes mest i feringer som helligdager eller i andre feiringer som brullup osv. Drakten er lett gjenkjennelig fordi den har så enkle snitt. Hanbok for kvinner består av topp 저고리 (jeogori) som er en topp som ligner på en bolero. Sammen til jeogori er det 치마 (chima) som betyr skjørt.
Underkjolen til hanbok skal helst presse på brystene for å få de mindere og forran på toppen er det som regel et bånd som skal knyttes for at toppen ikke går opp. Når hanbok brukes skal helst ene siden løftes opp mens man går for å ikke få møkk på kjolen, fordi kjolene er ganske lange. Noe som legges veldig fort merke til er at hanbok ikke har noen lommer, derfor må hanbok veske til antrekkene.
Gutter bruker 바지 (baji) som betyr bukser som brukes sammen med en topp.
Det som jeg syns er så pent med Hanbok er alle de forskjellige fargene på draktene og mønstrene. Går du til en Hanbok butikk er det uendelig av farge kombinasjoner å velge mellom. Så det er bare å finne sine favorittfarger. Men så klart, det er enkelte anledninger der fargene på hanbok burde være en bestemt farge. Eksempler på dette er begravelse der hanbok skal være svar eller på forlovelsesfest der hanboken oftest er rosa.
I dag er hanbokene enklere å få på enn det var før. Foreksempel glidlås i ryggen, og toppen forran trenger ikke å ha knyting. Men i stedenfor lukkes med knapper.
Det finnes også spesielle hanboker til forskjellige annledninger. Den ene er til feiring av ettårsdag for gutter og jenter
Er ikke draktene søte?
Andre anledninger det spesielle hanbokker brukes er brullup. Her bruker brud og brudgom hanboker som er designet for brullup.
Selve ritualene til brullupene og mer om draktene som brukes skal jeg fortelle om senere. Så det går jeg ikke noe mer inn på akkurat nå.
Hvor kjøpes hanbok?
Hanbok kan kjøpes både over nettet og i Korea. Selv vet jeg ikke om noen brae internettsider for kjøp av hanbok,så jeg kan desverre ikke anbefale noen. Men om noen har noen bra linker så er det bare å si i fra.
Men i Seoul er det flere steder der det er mulig å få kjøpt Hanbok. Det som er så bra med å faktisk gå å kjøpe og ikke bestille er jo at det er mulig for pruting. Så å få en bra deal er fult mulig om du kjøper drakten mens du reiser i Korea.
Hvor i Seoul kan de kjøpes?
Ene stedet for det er lett å finne fram til er Dongdaemun. Dongdaemun har også utrolig mange andre butikker og har et stort marked. Det kule med Dongdaemun er at det er marked som er åpent også på nattid. Så om du liker nattshopping kan du jo ta turen for å finne Hanbok her til alle døgnets tider. Det er også fult mulig å prute i Dongdaemun. Komme til Dongdaemun er ikke vanskelig. Ta en enten subway linje 2,4 eller 5 til Dongdaemun stadium station og ta utgang 14 for å komme nærmest mulig butikkene der Hanboker selges.
Jeg vil personelig anbefale Gwangjang Marked. Her er det utrolig mange hanbok butikker at det er vanskelig å vite hvor man har sett eller ikke. Markedet er utrolig stort. Her selges det ikke bare hanbok, men også utrolig masse spennende mat. Har du lyst til å se et skikkelig marked er Gwangjang Marked perfekt sted å dra. Selv om du ikke ser etter hanbok. Bare opplevelsen sin skyld er verdt å dra hit for. Her kan du finne over 600 forskjellige hanbok butikker. Så det er bare å ta på seg noen bra gåsko, for her er det utrolig mye å se.
Gwangjang Marked er et bra sted for å prute, og her kan du ende opp med å få noe mye billigere. Eneste tingen du må være ops på her er at mange av butikkene er eid av eldre mennesker som kanskje ikke kan engelsk veldig godt. Kjøpte selv en hanbok her, og måtte snakke bare koreansk. Og komme hit er også veldig enkelt. Faktisk er det bare gangavstand fra Dongdaemun Marked. Så om du vil kan du sjekke ut begge stedene på en gang. Men om du vil ta subway hit er det ikke vanskelig. Ta linje 1 til Jongno5-ga station og gå til utgang nummer 8. Da ser du markedet med en gang. Du kan også sjekke ut subwayen her det også er butikker.
Hvor mye koster en hanbok?
Prisen kan variere veldig. Det kommer helt ann på om den skal være "fake", eller mere ekte. På materialer til om du vil ha den skreddersydd.Det kan være alt fra under 100 000won til 700 000 won. Så i forhold til en norsk bunad er jo hanbok ikke veldig dyrt. Jeg kjøpte min til ca 180 000 won i Gwangjang Marked. Butikken jeg kjøpte på var veldig bra med mye utvalg. Fikk sittet ned å sett på en bok med mye designer og forskjellige typer hanbok. Trodde selv stedet skulle være dyrt. Men 180 000 won er ikke alt for ille for en så fin hanbok. Valget mitt falt for en hanbok i rosa og gul. Rosa skjørt med gul topp. Rosa er favorittfargen min så det måtte jeg bare ha. Grunnen til at jeg kjøpte var rett og slett fordi jeg kan ha den som minne resten av livet. Kommer nok aldri til å få brukt den. Men bare det og ha en som et minne syns jeg er veldig koselig.

Som du ser, ser ikke skjørtet rosa ut på bildet, merkelig nok ser det rødt ut på alle bildene jeg tok. Men skjørtet er faktisk veldig rosa selv om det ikke ser slik ut.
Haha. Snakk om posering. Plutselig hadde jeg ikke nok plass til å stå helt oppreist etter å ha trykka på kameraet. Så endte opp med å måtte bøye meg.
